Keys & Remotes
If the previous owner did not leave keys, new owners will be required to purchase
them. If keys were left and you cannot identify them, please
click here to see a photo.

Cost for keys is as follows:

Gate Remote ~ $35 each
  • Please note that gate remotes are programmed to allow you access into the 2 closest
    gates to your home.

Pedestrian Gate Keys ~ $15 each
  • Opens the walk through gates on the side of the drive through gates

Pool Key ~ $15 each
  • Opens the gates at the pools (same key for both Hillcrest and Black Oak)

Pool Tag ~ $15 each (limit one per home)
  • Green plastic tag required for entry to the pools during the months of May to
    September/October (dependant upon weather)

Fitness Key ~ $15 each
  • This key was changed in March 2010.  The first key, if not previously requested and
    sent out, is free of charge.  Additional keys are $15.

Mail Keys
  • The Association does not handle this; please contact the Rocklin Post Office.  You
    will have to arrange to have the lock changed (there is a fee for this service). Their
    number is (916) 624-5875

To operate the gate(s):

  • You will need a local telephone number.  
  • Please note that some cell phones work with the gates and some do not
    given the spotty cell service at Whitney Oaks.  
  • Some digital services like Magic Jack and Vonage may not work either.  
  • When a guest calls you from the gate, you will press '9' to let them in.  
    Please note, if you live behind gate 14 (Black Oak/Park) and a guest is
    calling you from that gate, you will press '5' to the guest in.
